Donations Jewish tradition to add meaning to a happy event by making a gift to the Temple. Mention will be made in the Shofar of gifts made honoring the following: Bar/Bat Mitzvah Graduation Births Birthdays Confirmations Weddings Anniversaries Building Fund- to provide funds for capital improvements. Flower Fund- to provide flowers for the High Holy Days and Special occasions. General Fund- to aid the daily, year round operation of the Temple and its programs. Library and Video Fund- to provide new books and videos to the Temple Library. Rabbi's Discretionary Fund- a good-works fund to help others and to provide for those necessary items for the Temple's benefit. Religious School- to provide audio and visual materials and equipment for the school. Scholarship Fund- to provide scholarships for Jewish summer camps, Israel programs and Religious School. Yahezeit Fund- to honor departed loved ones. Yizkor Fund- to honor departed love ones by having their names read during Yizkor Service on Yom Kippur. PLEASE MAIL ALL DONATIONS TO: TEMPLE BETH-EL Many beautiful furnishings have been donated to the Temple and are very much appreciated. Because of limited wall space and floor space, all donated articles must have the approval of the Building and Grounds Committee.
